Logo and Visual Identity Design for the 2030 Initiative National Oil Corporation (NOC)
I'm proud to showcase one of my standout projects in the field of visual design: the creation of the logo and visual identity for the 2030 Initiative, launched by Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) to reduce flare gas emissions and advance environmental sustainability efforts.
Overview
In 2021, Libya officially joined the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, marking a historic step in the country’s commitment to combating climate change and protecting the environment. A year later, in 2022, the Chairman of the NOC announced—during an event in Abu Dhabi—the corporation’s pledge to significantly cut down flare gas emissions, setting the stage for a strategic shift toward sustainable development goals.
Later that same year, the NOC’s board issued a formal decision to establish a committee for the 2030 Initiative, symbolizing the beginning of a bold and proactive environmental transformation.
My Role in the Project
I was commissioned to design a comprehensive logo and visual identity system that embodies the initiative’s vision and mission, while clearly reflecting the NOC’s commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future. My design approach focused on blending eco-conscious symbolism with a professional institutional tone, ensuring both clarity and strong visual impact across all digital and print platforms.
This project holds a special place in my portfolio, as it allowed me to contribute to a meaningful environmental cause with national significance. I remain committed to delivering impactful, high-quality design solutions that inspire and resonate.
